Greta is a registered psychologist with experience in clinical, coaching, and performance psychology. She coaches and consults with leaders and businesses, and contributes towards scalable solutions in tech, to help everyone make better values-based decisions, and live personally meaningful lives with contribution at the core.

Alongside her coaching psychology practice, Greta has worked as a high-level performer in the arts and tech industries.

As an artist, Greta was known as a classical singer with four no.1 albums (two with Sony Music, two with Universal Music on the Decca label) who collaborated readily with many ensembles, orchestras, and opera companies in Australia and overseas.

As a psychologist and data scientist, Greta has spent years building a bespoke values identification and decision-making system, eirisinc, which you can learn more about in Chapter 2 of This Working Life, to start democratising the values landscape. She's also invested in early-stage startups and coaches founders and early stage startup folks as well as leading performers and arts administrators.

Alongside undergrad and graduate psychology and music qualifications Greta has her MBA from Melbourne Business School, where she has lectured in culture, performance, and strategy. Throughout her adult life Greta has regularly volunteered for charitable and not for profit organisations, fulfilling a belief in the importance of lifelong volunteering where possible.

You might also catch Greta on ABC radio in her role as a presenter, where she's been a regular host since 2016, talking music, wellbeing, psychology, as well as decision- and music- neuroscience. Greta is passionate about bringing values and wellbeing resources and insights (and great classical music!) to as many people as possible. Her lived experience, expertise, and training, all serve as investment in what she brings her to her coaching and private psychology practice. Coaching clients include individuals (leaders in tech, arts, sport), groups, and organisations (seed through scaleup startups, VCs, family offices, foundations, NFPs, corporates).

From Greta

Hello, I'm Greta. I'm a psychologist, though these days I increasingly think of myself as a values and performance coach, too.

Human values have the power to transform people and businesses. Many folks don't make the most of values to unlock performance, wellbeing, and a fulfilling life, although that's changing. The word is spreading. The time for embedding values not just at the individual level, but in systems and processes, is now.

I help you use values when you're making decisions, identifying and defining purpose and meaning in your life and work, in the context of group dynamics, and in leadership style and identity. I bring in insights not just from my values research and practice, but from my training in cognitive behavioural therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, as well as Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

If you love learning, creating, contributing, and 'doing' as best you can, and think that growing and unlocking human potential is up to "we", not "me" (or you), then we're on the same page.

My happy place work-wise is collaborating to solve gnarly problems and to help people live more in line with their ambitious, extraordinary values. Unlocking the 'you' you know is there, but isn't yet fully realised, is my jam. Bringing structure and form to this process, and tracking change over time are important.

If you feel lost, burnt out, tired of living aligned with other people's expectations rather than with what is most important to you when you're at your best, that you (or your team) could perform to a higher level, or that the world has you operating in 'threat mode' rather than in a mode of strategic, pragmatic yet empathic execution, maybe I can help.

Alternatively, perhaps you feel like you're winning at life - or at least, from the outside, it certainly seems that way - yet you're left with a sense of disconnect between how you're living and what you believe you could elevate even further, maybe I can help.

As for when I'm not knee-deep in coaching, data modelling, music presenting or volunteer stuff, you'll find me cooking for friends and family, making music with or deep in conversation with one of my teenage sons, or getting out in nature with my better half and besties.

Some creds if that's your thing.
